Ive spoken with the client(s) and this is what they want:
This is the WAY over the top front man of the band. As you can see Yellow is his thing. Theres nothing subtle about him. Dresses loud and talks loud. So he went on and on about bright yellow and canaries and stuff. What it boiled down to was a bird (any kind) somewhere in the design and it has to be on this bright yellow pms 108 colored paper that he has.

both submissions so far fail to convey a "big bad voodoo daddy-esque" band, completely.
now, i don't know why anyone would do a poster for a "swing" band, in late 2005...but since that's the assignment, i'd try to work in somehow the feel of the music being advertised.
