    Default Advice on layouts.

Im wanting to print up something that my son drew for me but I'm not really great at designing/laying out. These are a few ideas I came up with, but Im looking for any tips or advice to help these look as good as they can be.
Im not sold on the color schemes either. Just a starting point.

I want to try using transparent ink on this first one.

Shooting for a 3 color print on this one.

I appreciate any help I get. Thanks

if you wana go with the bottom one i would stagger the rows like bricks so it doesn't look as much like 4 columns as it does right now.
