    Default First Stab

I've been interested in trying to screen something for awhile. I was goofing around in Photoshop last night and came up with this:

First time using the program. It is obviously ripping on McCarthy's style but it was fun trying to create something while learning some of the basic tool functions. Thought about trying to screen it and wanted to see what you guys thought of it. Any suggestions? See anything that would be particularly challenging about trying to screen this? Let me have it, you won't hurt my feelings.

I was thinking black paper, too. You could even do this with one screen if you didn't mind some of those lower stars being kind of grayish.

I'd suggest getting further acquainted with the software and learning a little more. Watch some tutorials and then practice by making a few more pieces... to me you're jumping the gun. it's like cracking open Protools for the first time, recording something, and then wanting to release it on vinyl.

for instance, as you do a little more, you'd probably see that just flipping the same element horizontally to complete your cave roof.. er.. skyline is a weak solution.

the cacti look too generic and the peaks are leaning to the left. either that or i'm slowly falling.
