editted! link removed a couple of posters just under my rant.
Yeah, so I started making some posters for DIY shows in about November of last year, and have been doing them on-and-off since, still trying to find my own style and improve at both drawing and photoshop, after never having used any computer art stuff, and having not drawn a jot in 10 years.
Any feedback would be appreciated, I've read a fair bit and see people don't generally seem to like the cutting corners with using fonts rather than hand-drawing - I've done a few hand drawn but that's definitely something I need to practice a lot - and also a lot of the promoters have prefered really clear text and LOTS of info.
I want to learn screening soon, and might enroll on a course this summer, so these design's haven't been done with nice screen printing in mind, and just been printing on laser/inkjet printers so lots of different colours hasn't been a problem, but definitely need to starting thinking about only using 2/3 colours if I head down that route and learn to print myself I guess.
Any comments/feedback/tips/ what works-what doesnt would be ace. I know my stuff isn't quite there yet, but I don't think it's total balls either...
Cheers!
