Biography:

Like most members of the polistes family, we are attracted to bright colors and bold patterns. We crave the natural curves and asymmetry of nature. But we’re not actually wasps, mind you. We’re people! And as certifiable people, our art is inspired by both the simple lines of traditional Japanese painting and the graphic style of modern comics.

Here at Paper Wasp, we create fun and fantastical art in a variety of mediums, much of it for sale! We also provide design, copy and illustration services to businesses that appreciate cool, pop-savvy art. Art made by insects…
