Oh yeah, I've been a fan of Dax's stuff for a long time! Good guy to party with too depending on the mood you catch him in lol. Yeah, it would mean a lot more if I did it myself I just don't know where to look. I always see people using pre-existing pictures and art to expand on and create new things but I don't want to run the risk of getting into trouble or even worse ripping off someone's hard work. Someone even mentioned stock photos and things like anatomy drawings in old textbooks but every website that I head to wants a "usage rights fee". Damn, art is hardlol

I need a free hamburger.... or a free tank of gas. I could also use some free foot pegs and some free exhaust for my bike. Can anyone help me out with some free dental work? I also need some free windows for the top floor of my house.
Yeah, first few posts telling me it wasn't cool to ask where to get some simple art ideas or websites was enough thanks. Funny though... funny. Here's the thing, I was never asking for major hand outs, seriously, I was just hoping I could have gotten a few replies saying "this website has really good clip-art" or something like that but I guess just pointing a guy in the right direction is against the "artist code" or something. Clip art, usage rights free pictures, that's all I'm interested in, not getting a designer to work for free, not to steal other peoples work, not to ask for validation, and certainly not to be ridiculed for trying to help my community. Sorry for that little rant, I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew what I was really asking for. I'm not arguing and don't want to argue, just want to do something nice for the venue I'm doing this at and for the town I love. And isn't that what America is all about, having pride for your work and your home? I like to think so.

search the whole of myspace, and if you like anything you see just contact the maker, and see if they're ok for you to use something in return for a name-mention, link-exchange or so... sure there's people around that are proud to be asked, and happy to help out.
bitchy knee-jerk replies are always free on gigposters.com
"Does anyone know where I can find some half decent free clip art? Any good sites you can recommend?" <----- How hard would it have been to type that in the first place?
...or march your fingers across the keyboard to GOOGLE "free clip art".
Pardon my venom but I've got a serious hate on for lazy people as of late.
