Re-using design? Violation?

A few months back I did this poster for the Dutch Basketball finals. Recently I saw the same poster changed for another venue. The only thing that changed was the date and team info. But they put it in another type in plain white ,without caring about the kerning and so on... I feel they violated my poster. Not that I think it was a great poster, they didn't pay me enough to put more time in it, and I used clipart instead of drawing my own player, but still... Should I talk to them about this? Do I have the right to do so, since they did pay me and buy the design?

There is a HUGE billboard on the side of one of the major x-ways leading in and out of Detroit. All it says is "I SUE BIG" in huge leters and has an attorneys name ans 800 phone number..... it saddens me as to what this country, society has slowly become.

I think the fact that it is buggin you is enough reason to do something about it. Make them pay you. clip art or no.

if they payed you they own it for adverts purposes and are allowed to change it unless you have a contract that specifies otherwise.

That's what I was afraid of... I do work more often for those people and we have a verry friendly relationship. That's part of the reason why it is bugging me this much... I think I'll give them a call tommorrow and just talk to them... tell them I just wished they told me about it.
