    Default PayPal Interest Bearing Account?

    Howdy folks,

I know this isn't really a 'Legal Issue' but I thought this was the best forum to ask this question.

Do any of you have your PayPal account set up as a Money Market account so that it will bear interest?

Do you even keep a large PayPal balance or do you prefer to move your money to a bank or credit union?

I'm just curious on how other freelancers work situations like this. I haven't decided on what to do with mine yet. I think I am kind of leaning toward not keeping a PayPal balance and moving it to a CU / Bank like once a week or every other week.

    Thanks for your thoughts!
    Jason

i don't know how it happened. i haven't used pay pal in a couple of months, last time was ordering the gee pee book. one day i checked my email and there was an email from pay pal that my payment was accepted. so i logged into paypalk, it said my account was frozen because they thought maybe a third party was on it.

i am really careful about using paypal. i even close all my browsers and open a new one before i log on. crazy.

The PayPal money market account is only paying .23 right now. There are better places to keep your money. I only keep what I need in the account. And, I transfer it over as quickly as possible to get it into another money market account at my bank, which pays much higher.
