It use to be that I could send a friendly reminder of owed money and get an email quickly back saying "we're working on it." These days you don't even get an email back.

I had an problem with a band the was on a major label.
The thing I had in my favor is they still had some of the t-shirts in my shop. they called while on tour all in a panic that they needed the rest of the shirts. I told them not until I get the balance due. and they had to also pay me some extra money to overnight the t-shirts.
They got me a check the next day
I learned along time ago. If your not going to worry about getting paid and
making sure nothing goes foward until they will get the picture.

Making art is easy. Making money takes talent.
Bands can pay me in tacos.
Last time I didn't see payment for something was when I was doing a us tour shirt and the whole time was just talking to the lead singer. I sent them the art then never heard back. Finally contacted their mgmt and they said "fuck man- send an invoice and we will square everything.".
Easy peasy
