Unhappy How do I contact a band for poster permission?

I have been having a bitch of a time finding contact info for bands I wanna do posters for. Does anyone have any pointers on how to get ahold of a bands tour manager, or manager. I have been trying to do this poster thing legit, but it is turning out to be a real chore.

I know some people just make the posters and ask the band if it's OK to sell them on the day of the concert. This is just too much of a risk for me. I can't afford to eat the cost of materials, on a hunch the band might be cool with my posters.

Does anyone have any contact info for BECK's Management or tour manager. I wanna do up a poster for when he rolls through my hometown (Albuquerque). I already tried Google, and his website, but I haven't had any luck yet. Maybee they are just ignoring me... If you do have any info please post here or send me a PM... Thanks!

That 'chore' is how your favorite artists get the gig. Start climbing that ladder.

Don't make gigposters. Flyers might be right up your alley.

try contacting the venue/promoter. usually easier to get thru to.

this one isn't going to be easy. you are trying to start at the top. might work better to do some posters for smaller and/or local bands and build up a rep.
