here's an idea for major labels....
1. Stop wasting money promoting shitty bands. Change your work force. Save money instead of: 2. Stop the whole $250,000+ advance/bait/loan bullshit. Those motherfuckers have been conning musicians for DECADES....now I have to feel sorry for them?? They're basically covering their ass over an OLD business model...do you fit they bill over their stupidity or should they?? Fucking pussies. Start your own band. Retain creative control by publishing and manufacturing your own music. Carve out your own niche and find distribution on your OWN. Bypass everybody and DO IT YOURSELF. P.S. Don't sign to a major. It's called. "getting fucked", in case you didn't know.

I have some friends with a restaurant who had a guy with a guitar playing live music one night a week.
BMI found out about this and started harassing them to pay royalties even though the musician had never even played a BMI song. They just figured that eventually he would. Now that's ballsy. Bastards
