Default Johnny Marr is NOT dead.!!!

Yesterday I met Johnny Marr. He walked into my job, while I was talking to a friend about Mojo Magazine, and his purchase of the Issue with the Smiths on it. My friend says, look theres johnny Marr! I say fuck off loser, he says it again, I say " why the fuck would johnny be in here? " He insists its Johnny, I look over, and IT WAS.!!! hahahahaha. Johnnys a really nice guy, and seriously down to earth. We talked music, and crap, and he offered to put me on his guest list for the show he was doing that night... Luckily he played NO smiths songs.!!! Took 4.5 minutes from him hitting the stage for someone to yell out " How soon is Now ". His show was excellent.!! His new album is very british manchester sounding, His guitar work is sweet. He has a great style and Luckily his voice is better.. YEP BETTER than misery. His band are solid, and they Rock.! so check em out when they come to the sates soon. He's comig back in tomorrow to sign a few things for me... hehehehehe. I strangley had a smith 12" hanging on the wall in the shop he happily signed.!!

Oddest sight was this guy crying during a mellow song, cluthching his hands in prayer, staring at johnny and when a tear rolled over his cheeks, he wiped it off and then wiped it over his heart... Never seen anything like that at a concert. Jermaine, do you do that at morrisey concerts? Does anybody here do that at any concerts. Kinda spooked me out a lil.

When I saw Neil Finn a few weeks ago, he played "There is a Light that Never Goes Out" by The Smiths ... gave a little shout out to Johnny Marr, who he has recorded and performed with.

Steve, Damn jealous you met Brian Robertson. Thin Lizzy still are a major band for me. Toooo cool. I just watch " From a whisper to a scream " Story of irish music. And it had awesome footage and interviews with 2 of my all time faves... Thin Lizzy and Rory Gallagher. Oh welll... Least Peter Green is still alive.

    Charlie....

Yeah Zakk was playing drums. When Johnny came into the shop, he hung, then left, and brought Zakk back . I didnt twig he was Ringos kid. He looked a lil like ringo, and wasnt too tall. Although being 6ft 2, alot of peeps dont look too tall. He didnt say alot, but man , He fuckin kicks ass as a drummer.!!!! Seriously . Tonight and tomorrow and thursday, hes supporting pearl Jam here in Melbourne.
