    Default Selling Posters?

This shop downtown has shown interest in buying some prints of my gigposters and selling them in their shop. This is probably a really dumb question, but do I have full rights to sell the posters, even though the bands commissioned me to do the posters for them? Do I have to give the bands a percentage, like royalties or anything? I'm really new at this. Obviously.
    thx

Yeah, if you and the band never discussed aftermarket sales then it'd be kind of lame to sell them through the store without checking with the band first. You could just offer to give the band a percentage or something.

If the poster(s) refer to a particular venue(s) then you may find the venue owners want a cut too. Unlikely, but possible, especially if it's a big deal venue with a high-value trademark name.
