It looks like a lot of things at first glance, not only the Cheap Thrills cover (though the fact that it's for a "Cheap Thrills Tour" is certainly suspicious). The drawing style is obviously copped from Comic Art Central Casting. It's hard to say but this might land inside the copyright grey area between derivation and infringement. (I have as much understanding of Australian law as Richie.) Who is Coop? Is that who designed the Big Brother album? If so then there's a stronger argument for infringement.

are those actual Coop/Crumb images or just someone who draws like Coop/Crumb. if the later this is just a parody.

The Coop images are straight from the book, direct copy, just changed colours.

Who is Coop? Is that who designed the Big Brother album? If so then there's a stronger argument for infringement.

Yeah, i saw that ad and was wondering the exact same thing. Love police usually do great stuff.
Is the face on the bottom right lifted from coop's greenday poster?

They do cool stuff, thats why I am surprised by this, its out of character, but still wrong.
