Threatened with violence

I've got this guy that thinks I owe him $250.00 (which I don't) threating me and my family via email with violence.

He says he and his possy are going to pay us a visit on Sept 1st.

What can I legally do?

Besides buy a shotgun and wait.

Isn't it against the law to threaten people via email or something?

Yeah. It is.

That's why you only ever threaten people over the phone or in person without witnesses. Caue then it's they're word against yours.

Print that shit out and go to the cops. I believe that's how normal people handle business like this.

You can get a temporary restraining order heard pretty quickly in court. A lot of times there are people that can guide you through the process. I would call the cops, make a report and then go the tro route.

Get a tactical assault shot gun, the handle folds up into a "sawed off" look for easy manuvourbility(sp?) in tight spaces, like incase your in a shoot out in a trailer park or something. You can also get a clip so those things become semi autamatic. Nuts. If you want eye candy, you can get shells that shoot FIRE now.

file a Civil Harassment restraining order, or just tell him, "my posse's thick, bitch!"
