Ripped off by obey

Really bummed out about this. The top one is mine. The second one is Obey's. I've been selling these shirts for years from ShirtsAndDestroy.com. Just came across this one the other day. Looks like they've done tons of different colors, tanks, and tote bags... Planning to release an anti OBEY shirt soon...Don't get mad, GET EVEN!...right?

I would say that you both ripped off Mad magazine. Either way the two designs, besides subject matter, are far enough apart that I wouldn't call it a rip.

I agree. Both are stylistically very different, and the concept isn't earth-shattering. I'd bet there's more shirts just like these that pre-date them both.

Can you link the image from MAD that I "ripped off" ?

I see what you guys are saying, but there's no doubt in my mind that an OBEY employee saw my design and made the appropriate changes to get away with printing it. The tree, the leg bent, and the diagonal striped beer can are almost all in the same place! I'm not going to try to sue or anything, so I guess I posted this in the wrong forum. Just wanted people to see it...

I agree with everyone else that it's a good bit different. If it makes you feel any better, I'd buy yours waaay before I'd buy the shitty Obey one.
