Mickey: Yay or Nay?

Hi everyone,

i have a little question regarding copyright... which sadly i think i already know the answer to this.. but...

I designed this skeletal figure who just so happens to bear a striking resemblance to a well known mascot...

Now I know of artists/graffiti artists who have been using his likeness in their works before.. but at the same time I know some of those artists have had legal battles in the past... just i dont know if it's been over the use of his mug.

Certain things like the ears, the shorts and shoes give this away almost immediately but other than keeping it for personal use etc do any of you think I would be safe selling screen prints of my design or even t-shirts?

any ideas or a simple Yes or STAY WELL CLEAR would be great.

hmmm... no clear answer... I generally thought I should not even begin tryin to dance around Disney just to make some cash... I may drop Millward a line and see what he thinks actually...
