Licensing artwork for use on record cover

Would you license a piece of artwork for an initial pressing with a new payment on each pressing thereafter?

Anyone have any experience or advice on licensing structure?

endless..it all depends on the bands popularity, expected sales and so on. I myself usually will license existing art for the life of the record, with additional deals for use on merch. If its new art commissioned specifically then I usually try to sell it outright to them as u can usually get a good sum, and in those cases the art is sually not good for further use anyway.
