Buying and Selling

First off how do you buy the posters you like from this site? I'm brand new to this and can't figure it out. Do I need to look the artists up individually through google?
I'm not talking about replicating the prints but rather, hopefully being able to possibly buy in bulk.

Also, if I buy artwork from an artist or this site, am I able to resell it? A college buddy and I are trying to find a local market niche and start our own business. We have a few graphic designer friends and another couple of screen printint specialists. So, the poster market looks very good for us, but we are trying to figure out exactly what we neeed to do and dont do.

Any advides is greatly appreciated.

You can resell anything you buy, but you can't reproduce art you buy. (IE: You can't buy artwork or a poster or whatever, and make your own prints of it...unless you've worked out some licensing deal with the artist over image rights/royalties).

Ya, I'm not trying to reprint anything. Like I said I'd hopefully be able to buy 20 or so of each at a time and hopefully make a couple dollars profit and re invest in more posters.

Another question.
What's the rules on making your own prints with the bands name in them for individual shows, no image of the band, just the name. Can that be done as long as they are a household name. Because I saw a law suit that tiger woods brought on an artist for using his image, woods ended up losing because the court ruled that his name and image were household names, and because so they were common to everyone. I want my friends to make me posters to sell for shows is why i ask.
