I put this in last year's thread, but I figured I would start up a new one for this year's show. I spoke with the nice folks at the Independent Coffee Cooperative, the group of Coffee Shops we worked with for the Beans and Screens Coffee Art show last year. They would absolutely love to have another show this year.
We are still working out the details, but it's going to work similar to last year:
We're looking for artists who love, rely and are even inspired by Coffee
Mugshots Coffeehouse is organizing a coffee-infused art show in Philadelphia for June. Mugshots (and Independents Coffee Cooperative – Independents Coffee Cooperative :will be working collectively to raise $16,000 for the Peruvian farmers who grow the coffee sold as our house coffee (Independents Peruvian Select). The farmers are undertaking an ambitious project to build a solar powered drying facility (to dry the beans after they are harvested). This will allow for the farmers to improve both the quality and quantity of the coffee they grow, by protecting it from the frequent rains in the region.
We're hoping the show will feature art inspired by all aspects of coffee, from the growing and harvesting of the beans to the simple pleasures of a morning cup, and anything in between.
We are asking for 12 copies of your print, and we will frame one copy ourselves for the show, and sell the rest on the Mugshots website. On top of the 12 show prints, your print run can be as large as you want, and you can sell those prints however you please.
100% of the profits made through the show at Mugshots will go to Cooperativa San Fernando, a farmer-owned organic coffee cooperative located high in the Andes Mountains near Cusco, Peru.

Anyone interested in participating this year, or if you have any questions can shoot me a PM or an email at sam (dot) verrill (at) gmail.com, and I'll get you all the information as soon as it's figured out.
Last year's show turned out really fantastic, as I think Chuck, Dan Knapp and I think a few others of you who were at the opening can attest.
