silkscreen posters and installation »THE TRAIL« from the »RADAR EYES« show. exhibition | 21.06. - 13.07.2008 SPEDITION | AM GÜTERBAHNHOF | BREMEN vernissage | saturday | 21.06.2008 | 20.00 concert | HAMBORGHINNI [members of AIDS WOLF | montréal] | 21.00 dj | NICK SWIFT [CRACK, HALLO HIER! | bremen] opening hours | wednesday - sunday | 15.00 - 20.00 finissage | sunday | 13.07.2008 | 20.00 concert | TV BUDDHAS [israel] hosted by twisted knister. gefördert vom senator für kultur bremen. http://www.seripop.com http://www.seripop.livejournal.com http://www.myspace.com/seripop http://www.gigposters.com/designers.php?designer=26758 http://www.myspace.com/hamborghinni http://www.myspace.com/tvbuddhas http://www.myspace.com/twistedknister http://www.spedition-bremen.org SERIPOP »MUTATIONS« SERIPOP sind chloe lum und yannick desranleau aus montréal. von spontaneität und rastlosigkeit getrieben drucken sie in den zwischenzeiten ihrer touren mit der no wave band AIDS WOLF unzählige konzertplakate (u.a. für LIGHTNING BOLT, XBXRX, WOLF EYES, BLACK DICE, AN ALBATROSS, TV ON THE RADIO, SIGHTINGS...), kunstdrucke und plattencover zwischen maximalismus und psychedelia, an den grenzen der zusammenhänge von bildender kunst und grafikdesign. seit 2000 entfachen sie durch ihre siebdrucktechnik einen ideensturm in der visualisierung von musik. ähnlich wie bei AIDS WOLF sind sie bekannt für ihre unglaubliche diy-produktivität, sture leidenschaft und vorliebe für noise. in der spedition sind zum ersten mal in europa, neben einer großen auswahl von rockpostern und drucken, ihre 3-d-papier-/rauminstallationen »THE TRAIL« zu sehen sein. zur eröffnung gibt es ein konzert von HAMBORGHINNI, ihrem dritten lärmenden projekt. chloe: electronics, voice & yannick: drums. improvisiert, laut, schnell, trash. zum konzert von MELT-BANANA am 28. juni in der spedition wird ein konzertposter erscheinen, dass SERIPOP in kollaboration mit BONGOÛT aus berlin gestaltet haben. TV BUDDHAS aus israel treten zur finissage auf. bei gelegenheit draussen mit holzkohle. holon city rock psychedelia reduziert velvet undergroundesque sounds zu einer molasse aus surf, r’n’r dreck und maximum reverb mit indischem gitarrentuning.

this show will be our euro debut of the sculpture work we've been doing the past 2 years. us with the pride of bremen , europe's largest brickwall  making the germans do our dirty work    papercut!  pile o' unassembled blocks  drawing fills for our bremen art prints (diptich , edition of 25!)  boxhead
