Flatstock is cheap because the API goes in and armwrestles the dorks producing the events.

that's what you API does for you.

Make some inquiries for a regular booth upstairs in the austin covention centre, or at BBshoot. You would be shocked.

How many poster artists would show up if the booth fee was $2,000?

    Five? Hell, even that many?

It matters what the event it. For Bumbershoot - I'd consider it. Its all about how much money can be made from running the booth at the event. As long as it all gets paid for, and a little profit - its worth it.

Different scale, we're not selling $20 presses....

the point is, $80 or $250 for a booth is nothing compared to what it costs mainstream exhibitors at large public events.

It just bugs me that some people are so naive about costs sometimes.

Totally agree. $80 isn't bad at all, which is why I paid it without hesitation. But more people better show up this year!

We're thinking about possibly doing it this year. How was it last year? Lots of music fans, professionals? Both?
Is it the same location as last year Fantasy?
