A few pertinent questions..
Who are you hoping to come to the thing, who is the target audience? I imagine you can fit all of the collectors in the area into a small room. It's the kids, the regular concert goers that you want to reel in. So, will there be any bands there? If you are counting on a large NYC crowd it should be accessible by train. Many things to consider, though the initial idea sounds cool. I'm interested, but I'll hang on to see how it develops.
