WMP has been proud to participate in a beautiful book project published by Random House and set to release in early November. RandomHouse.ca | Books | The Open Daybook by David Earle

The book asks each artist to choose a date in the year's calendar and commit to making a piece of work on that day for the book. Each page allows space for interactivity with the work and offers to become a daily journal, calendar, or artistic experience for the reader. Exhibitions will be held at both LACMA and LACE in Los Angeles, but shows and book openings will also be held in NY and Chicago. Dates forthcoming.

Fingers crossed that next year we can see a show of books transformed by the readers!

Participating artists include Lisa Anne Auerbach, David Bunn, Benjamin Butler, C.F., Jordan Crane, Harrell Fletcher, Jill Greenberg, Fritz Haeg, Jo Jackson, Chris Johanson, Miranda July, Lucky Dragons, Nikki McClure, Pat O’Neill, Ron Regé, Jr, Aaron Rose, Erika Rothenberg, Leanne Shapton, Shoboshobo, Mungo Thomson, Kerry Tribe, and Megan Whitmarsh.
