The Art of Wes Freed
Opening Tuesday, October 26th at Plan 9 Music at 8:30 pm

Since creating the cover art for Southern Rock Opera in 2002, Richmond, VA's Wes Freed and his artwork have been synonymous with the Drive-By Truckers' 21st Century Southern Gothic. In addition to album cover art, Freed creates unique posters for all the Truckers' shows. Those posters, as well as the original artwork created for them, plus other Freed originals, will all be for show and sale at Plan 9 Music starting on new release day, Tuesday October 26th. Plan 9 will offer storewide specials on Tuesday, and more is planned for Saturday, October 30th in conjunction with the Truckers' Halloween weekend shows at The National on Friday the 29th and Saturday the 30th.

This was the first in a series of shows we hope to do at Plan 9. The opening was great, as there were tons of DBT fans in town for the big Halloween weekend, and our initial success gives us a lot of confidence that any future shows will be equally well received. Here are a few pics:
