Judging interest...the 2nd annual Lawrence KS Sip & Shop

Hi everyone!

So, last winter I put on this er, thing, called the Sip & Shop here in my hometown of Lawrence KS. I threw it right before Christmas in a bar downtown, the idea being that people could come and drink (Sip) and buy cheap art and stuff from local craftsman (Shop) as gifts for the holidays. It was a surprise hit. We pulled in 200+ folks, everyone made a little money and most of us got drunk. Yay!

So, I'm doing it again. The questions is, do I do it in the same spot with the same folks or do I open it up to more artists and stick it in a bigger venue. So, would any Lawrence/KC-area gigposters folks be interested in:

a) showing up, having a little booth and selling stuff?
b) paying $20 for the privilege?

The money would go towards the venue and the postcards/posters we ran last year and will again this year.

Hmmm. Keep in mind you can answer yes to a) and no to b) if you want. It's just that yes to both pushes me to rent a dedicated venue. Think about it folks...
