Poster Roast is preparing itself again for the biggest show so far, taking place alongside this years Camden Crawl amongst the bustling London streets. It is to be held in the new, ever so swanky, Black Heart Pub.
For those of you who are yet accustomed to the Poster Roast we are a platform of which strives to promote the ever growing art-form of the screen printed gig poster within the UK.
During each Poster Roast we exhibit, what we believe to be, some of the leading UK poster artists, there is also live screen printing throughout to show the process, and this year you will have the option of leaving with your own freshly printed poster!
As the poster wouldn't exist without the music, we also try and get some of the best upcoming bands to play a set, so far we have Turbowolf and Pulled Apart by Horses lined up to please your ears during this years Camden Crawl.
Creating affordable art for people is a large part of what these artists advocate and we hope that members of the public will enjoy being able to leave with something precious and unique. The majority of posters will be available to purchase, and a lot of the artists will be there in person if you have any questions!
The artists exhibiting this year are:
Graham Pilling, Tape Ears, Drew Millward, Adam Pobiak, Thr33 Designs, Dan Mumford, Luke Drozd, David Bailey, The Pinch, Scrawled, Telegramme, 3d Glasses, Michael Cowell, Two Ducks Disco, Switch Open and Dan Reeves.
In the future keep your eyes peeled for the new Poster Roast online store, where posters will be available easy peasy.
