    Default Tim Burton at MoMA

There's an excellent Tim Burton show at MoMA right now, if you're in the NYC area, or you're going to be in town before April 26th, you should check it out.

    MoMA | Tim Burton

My wife and I finally made it over there yesterday, and we plan to go back to see it again before it closes.

I went over Thanksgiving weekend, it was awesome. I expected it to stink -- "here's some movie props and a couple of concept art" -- but it was really cool. His whole life's work, back to middle school, and then a good sampling of his influence in terms of stuff from the movies. Really pretty cool.

We saw it as well. So much better than I thought. His early drawings were great and really showed his sense of humor.
The concept sketches were so cool to see and then you turn a corner and you're staring at Pierce Brosnan's and Sarah Jessica Parker's severed heads... PRICELESS!

I guess I'll check it out since I get in free anyway.

Did you notice that all the text on the time line wall was screen printed?

Its a insane amount of work but no one seems to notice.
