ok so i'm trying to be good with my money, beacause i have not in the past, and therefor i have no credit cards, so budget wants to take and hold 400 bones(don't have) and now i can't leave for austin tonight because i have to wait for my check to clear tonight and pick up the car(from thrifty 'cause i'm pissed and its closer to the house) in the morning, then pack up the auto, so this isn't exactly a FS thread but its keeping me from going to flatstock to set up early.
And i was leaving early so i could take the OKC rout and punch wallace in the eye and steal some Hamms from his bar.

I had a similar experience with Enterprise. Been using them for years. Opened the shop, put a lot on credit cards. Got behind when the ramp up was slow, consolidated, found out it was a scam. It trashed my credit, then I paid off everything in one year.
Now, with no credit cards, (but plenty of money & my own business,) stupid Enterprise first ran a CREDIT CHECK before renting me a car, & then downgraded my online selection. I felt like a fucking second class citizen. My customer record shed no light on the subject, despite years of use, 1000's of miles, & no incidents whatsoever. Nothing like a company who works harder to use their service.
Now I try to use Hertz. Seem a lot more user friendly.

I wish Budget would take a cash deposit around here. I've never really wanted a credit card or own a card, but it sure would be nice to be able to get out of town every now and then without having to beg for a ride with someone.
