Wow.

Cheapest flight I can find from Seattle to Austin is $399. I've been looking for WEEKS and it hasn't dropped at all.

Anybody have a good insider tip? It's almost cheaper to drive my big-ass SUV than to fly. Which doesn't sound too appealing.

Insider tip: buy early, the prices only go up.

Is that round trip? Did you try to book two one way flights? That saved me $100 for like four years in a row.

some years you are just effed. last year that was about what it cost me for tickets to austin and seattle from pittsburgh. i even tried kevin's trick for two sets of one-way flights and it was the same price roughly.

this year austin is about $250 RT.

i see various sea/austin flights on american airlines for $349.

Yeh last year it was like $375 RT for us, this year it was less than $250 RT. Weird.
