SXSW Wristbands needed, will trade BRLSQ rares and/or cash.

Hey GPeeps,

If you are going to SXSW / FLATSTOCK this year and didn't get a wristband through being an exhibitor, perhaps you know how tricky it is for a non local to purchase one this year. The majority of the BRLSQ staff posse got taken care of but now our new girl Jodi and a couple loved ones are coming too. Since we already got the exhibitor ones and the sales for that are closed, we need a few for the stragglers. So if you are an Austin resident that was only going to buy one, but could buy two or you have some other hook up, I will either trade you some hot flat file stuff of ours, pay you for them, or some combination of trade and payment. If you are going to buy them the old fashioned way, I'll send you the name you'll need for your "guest" when purchasing.

And if you have some way of getting me one or two of those super badges that gets into all shows, I'll trade you something super sweet. We can't afford to buy those though, unless it was around the same price as a wrist band + trade.

We're doing the hotel/wristband package again this year. Wristbands are more important to us than where we stay, so it's a great deal for us. You can get 2 wristbands per room. The website has been up for a couple of days, so I imagine the available rooms will sell out soon.

SXSW Music News Bits:

More Wristbands Available Wednesday: At least a few of the coveted SXSW wristbands will be sold via the conventional route this year. The Austin Chronicle reports that 400+ wristbands priced at $165 will be on sale from 9:30am on Wednesday, 3/12 at Waterloo Records. These wristbands do not require an local ID, so out-of-towners can finally get their shot at wristbands not obtained through nefarious means. They also report that a second batch may be made available next week, so stay tuned for more information.
