Default Poly Bags For Posters?

I'm getting ready to order some poly bags from Uline or someplace - I'm thinking the big roll or 3" bags - is that a practical size to roll posters in, or should I look for something bigger?

depends on the weight of your paper. anything over say 110 lb paper your gonna need more than a 3 inch diameter.

Go for the big roll.
3" forces you to roll them up too tightly IMO; you want 4" or 5" (that's the measurement flat; not the diameter)

Yup. Go with 4". A big roll will last a long time.

this place is a BITCH to negotiate http://www.bagsandbowsonline.com//default.asp? but they are fast shippers and way cheaper than uline.

it used to be awesome, when it was just veripak (who i believe manufactures the bags etc.) and far far cheaper than uline or anywhere else that i can find. so, if you find something that you want or buy, bookmark that item cause it's a real pain in the arse to find it again. they have a terribly inaccurate product navigation system up now.

i reccoment www.crystalclearbags.com for outdoor poster diplaying.

I did poly bags last year at b-roo and had to wipe down my prints hourly. This year i did the slightly more expensive, self-adhesive clear bags and they repelled dust and make your stuff look all nice and blingy.

polybags for purchases however
