How were the posters selling at Flatstock?$$$$$$$$

I know last year they were making a killing.

the musical line-up did not really bring out the crowd that buys posters that a bulk of us make, therefore things were iffy.

however, the hip-hop heavy line up semed to make up for madd cash for mr bobby dixon it seemed, he was sold out way before it was over as far as i know.

so anyone who didnt make money can blame it on bobby for being so talented.

i sold a nice chunk of posters high and low priced as well as some monoprints. hip hop and artsy stuff and tee shirts do well. indie band posters, not so much.

i sold nearly all of my f*ckup posters, other than that, posters made up the least of my sales. luckily i had enough art prints, tees and stuff that i did pretty ok.

it was weird, to sell just a few posters.

the first seattle i did. i left my posters on the plane but had a box of tees i had checked.

i just set those up and made the same as poster people, if not more.

I have been to all 10 flatstocks and the last 2 Seattle shows have been my best.
I had repeat customers this year...fun to see the same faces...they tell me what they got last year and got something new this year...it's fun to get out of my house once in a while and talk to people...

I think diversity kind of saved the weekend for me. I expected to sell a lot of art prints, but didn't. I sold a lot of Sonic Youth posters and sold out of Coldplay. I balanced out sales with t-shirts. All of the above made it about as profitable as last year (good), but no one big seller.
