please note that this is not a definite thing. this is not a sign-up. i want to know how many people are interested in this event:

API has been in negotiations with a new three-day music festival centered in the reeperbahn district in hamburg, germany. the organizers are styling this music festival after sxsw.

they would like the API to organize, in conjunction with feinkunst kreuger poster gallery (hamburg) a flatstock event to be held september 21, 22 and 23rd of this year.

the event will be in a large tent in the middle of the reeperbahn, which is hamburg's red light district. traditional flatstock-style booths will be used.

you would be responsible for your own flights, though slightly discounted flights will be avaiable through lufthansa. amount of discount is not known at the time.

during the event, you would be able to stay at a hostel near the event, again, at your own expense, but discounted from the regular price.

there will be between 25 and 30 booths, and we are trying to get a balance between american and european postermakers.

the booth fee will be roughly $150 USD.

this is two weeks after flatstock 10 in seattle.

at this time, i am asking who would be seriously interested in having a booth at this event - both europeans and americans (and brits).

if everything works out between the local promoters and API, we will have a registration announced via the soon-to-be-perfect API member emails, followed by an announcement here on GP.

Of all the Flatstocks this would be the one I would want to do the most. I'll consider it and post my intentions later.

yeah we've been busy. Adding Chicago as well as Bonnaroo and Vegoose has been a lot of work but we think it's definitely keeping the poster movement growing.

I'm real excited about this possible Flatstock. It will be awesome to get both sides of the ocean together.
