This event will take place RAIN OR SHINE and takes place OUTDOORS. Tents are provided with your registration. One tent per booth. Side tent flaps will be available in the event of rain. -------------------------------------------------------------------
Booths can be shared but are limited to TWO artists/studios per table. If you plan on sharing please indicate who you will be sharing with on the registration form. Cost is $230 (US) per booth. Based on availability, it MAY be possible to sign up for double booths as well, but these CANNOT be shared. IF there are still booths available by Tuesday, April 25th, double booths will be made available to API members who are already registered, in the order they are registered. If available, a double booth will be $445. All of these amounts include the $25 Chicago business license fee owed by each exhibitor.
API will provide set up and tear down of the tent, table and chairs plus three pieces of cardboard for booth backing. As with other Flatstocks, you can hang banners, posters, etc. with pins or hooks / wire from the cardboard provided to you, but must not damage the tents in any way. It is suggested that you bring heavy tape to assemble the cardboard into a wall configuration within your tent. Booth dimensions are 10' X 10' and contain one table (measuring approximately 6' x 2.5') and two chairs.
There will be 70 booths available. An email was sent to API members yesterday (Tuesday), and some of the booths have already sold.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Please carefully read all the information on the registration page of www.flatstock.com.
Cancellation Policy: There will be no refunds for cancellations requested after 7/7/06.
A 50% refund of the booth fee may be granted if a cancellation request is received by the API from 6/23/06 through 7/6/06.
A full refund (less $20 to cover expenses incurred by the API) may be granted at the API's discretion for a cancellation request received before 6/22/06.

By purchasing an artist's display booth you are allowed to sell original poster art ONLY. You may not sell band merchandise, band t-shirts, CDs or other non-studio related materials. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. Failure to abide by these guidelines can result in ejection from the event. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE STATE OF ILLINOIS REQUIRES EACH EXHIBITOR TO COLLECT SALES TAX AND TO REMIT IT TO THE STATE.

These need to arrive before July 25, 2006

A.P.I. and Pitchfork Music Festival present
FLATSTOCK 9
Rock Poster Convention at the PITCHFORK MUSIC FESTIVAL
Union Park, Chicago
Noon-10 pm Saturday and Sunday, July 29 and 30, 2006
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Since FS runs until 10pm, there are plans being made for a FRIDAY night dinner for registered FS participants and their guests. Details will be announced on Gigposters.com as they become available.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
A block of hotel rooms are being sought right now. If you opt to get your own hotel room immediately, please consider the distance from Union Park - many hotels which consider themselves "Chicago-area" are possibly located far out in the suburbs, near the airports, and would ensure drives of an hour to and from Union Park.
