Flatstock - Hotel Question

Was anyone able to reserve a suite under the information that Jermaine provided us? I called and they said that the discount rate only applies to single rooms....

i called to get a single room but they told me i could get a suite for the same price so i did...........that was earlier last month so they may just be out of suites or something.......

Well shit, they tried to tell me that they "might" be able to give me a suite at a discount but not at $50. Im gonna have to have a word with them.

Yep. Remember when I said they had a limited number of suites...they were first come-first served?
I think all who responded to the deal in a short period of time got suites. Remember, they are giving us the deal on these rooms ($50 a nite!) during the middle of the biggest 'hotel period' (SxSW) in Austin all year. So, earlybirds who responded shortly after I posted the info. got the suites. But the rooms are very nice also.

I will be posting another bit of info. for all those staying at the hotel about a week before FS2...around the first week in March.

I wasnt complaining, they wouldnt tell me if the blocked off suites had been taken or not so i wondered if i was just getting screwed by the clerk. Either way, great rates.

UPDATE!!!!

Get girlfriend to talk nice to hotel manager = he adds an extra suite to the flatstock block. scrabble tournement will now be in the lap of luxury.
