At the Austin Chronicle Music Awards in March The South Austin Museum of Popular Culture was scheduled to display an amazing array of art and music artifacts relating to the birth of american music that has been put together by the folks at Lo-Max Records in London. Now, unfortunately, circumstances in the last few days have caused them to postpone until September. So, we find that we've got about 30 feet or so of wall space to show off posters. We'll be showing some vintage pieces and plug our current exhibit but want to include some posters made in the past five years...so if some of the Austin area artists want to bring us a couple posters each, we'll include them. We'll also have about 20 feet of table space so we can include posters in the portfolios out for "show and tell". Bear in mind that the focus of the event is on Texas Music. thanks.
