    Default Flatstock newbie needs info...

Hey, how many posters do you guys usually take down? Do you take multiples of your stuff to sell or no? Do you just cover the booth and not worry about surplus stock?

    Thanx

I take 5 of most posters. 10-15 of ones that I think I'll sell a lot of.

    great rule of thumb.

people tend to like wierd stuff as well - even color tests and stuff like that sols while I was cleaning out my briefcase - literally stuff I was going to throw away - and a couple of people got really excited about them. Sold.

it's better to bring a little too much as opposed to a little too few. if you sell ONE extra poster at $20, that covers the shipping cost of getting a whole box of your stuff home after FS.

5-10 of most prints is a good starting plan. go up or down from there. i have a couple prints i know i'm probably not going to sell, so i'm only bringing 2-3 of them. the inverse applies to your 'heavy-hitter' prints.
