Yeah yeah yeah,... the title of this thread is hysterical to see floating in the forum,... I almost dropped my coffee laughing,...

I guess if JR meanst watch your back, meaning watch out for Gig Poster artists, the title wouldve been, 'Coming to Flatsock2? Dont drop the soap,... '

Althought it'd be kind of an honor to be hit on by Uncle Charlie,...

...a creepy, reach under your PJ's little boy kind of an honor, but an honor nonetheless,...

You can control the prices at the dealer level by setting rules.

Kozik and Jermaine use COMPLETELY different strategies for using dealers.

You only get the real aftermarket value once the collectors and (example) Tool fans get on Ebay to buy/sell their Tool posters.

You have no control over setting price rules to these collectors.

Because Ebay is as close as you'll ever get to a transparent and open market, the opening bid will have no meaning. Any Soundgarden/PJ poster that goes on Ebay with an opening bid of 1 cent will still sell for a few hundred.

Hyping your posters by using price control to create perceived aftermarket value.

This hyping CAN work (look at Jermaine and Shag) but is by no means the only way to deal with your posters & dealers.

Depends how you want to use your posters; as a businesscard (kozik) or as your main source of income (Jermaine).

Hence, i'm not saying one approach is better then the other.
