If anyone around Chicago is thinking about a last minute trip to Seattle this weekend, travelocity has direct flights to Chicago on Friday, come back Monday for $337 and it includes a rental car. I’m thinking I may go.
EDIT: O.K. I probaly won't go but that's a pretty good deal for last minute.

I don't really know, but it sounds like a really good deal. Jet fuel is supposed to skyrocket due to the increase in barrel prices. (I watched the local news last night.)

It could be a mixed bag. Some airlines are talking about cutting more of their costs (laying off people) to keep prices low and some airlines have gas contracts, so a spike like this doesn't immediatly effect them. but yeah, I'm sure airline prices will continue to go up as gas does.
