I have talked to Lars. He's working on it and will have news probably right after the weekend.

There was some talk after last year's FSEU about reconfiguring the tent configuration into more of a horse shoe instead of two rows. Completely arbitrary and unscientific studies have shown that one row is often forsaken and lonely.

I posted this isn last year's thread:

    Something like this:

The problem with that layout is that there are only two points of entry, both on a side facing the street. This would severely limit our (often heavy) east-west pass-through traffic, as what most people will see is the backs of tents.

At every Flatstock there are unpredictable traffic flows which result in areas of lighter and heavier traffic, and someone is bound to be understandably butt-hurt about it. We've all been there. At least part of this is illusory as it consists of people who aren't stopping. I think any solution which limits visibility and traffic overall in the name of equalizing flows, is not a solution.

Also, there are fire safety regulations that require us to have two clear avenues of access at both sides. They wouldn't let us do this even if we wanted to.

    there, i fixed it

but seriously, anything to flow the traffic from one parallel row to the other would be much more inviting.

any alternate solution might be cool, but with this scenario its only space for 32 booths instead of 40. thats not the final idea, i guess. but maybe with one connection in the middle of the two rows?

I just had an idea for a really offensive visual joke.
Fortunately I can't spare the five minutes it would take.
