[Hero Design Studio]

A lot of us have had many conversations at Flatstocks about wanting a spot for Flatstock go-ers (fans and artists alike) to be able to go to easily get info on upcoming Flatstocks, lists of artists exhibiting and to get promo materials like web banners to be able to promote on their own personal blogs and websites.

After some chats with Geoff & Allison we decided a blog page would be best to start, easy to manage and people don't have to search or join web forums to find what they are looking for. When we do things like contests, the nice thing is people dont have to have twitter, facebook or join forums, they can just post comments and be involved.

Moving forward, we will have online promo materials (ecards, web banners, etc) posted so we can all have stuff to post on our own personal blogs. And we are working on organizing a couple contests and giveaways for fans attending Flatstocks.

I am going to be putting some hours in on all of this over the weekend, but I just wanted to get it out there that we are doing this, I threw together some super quick web banners (from the FS booklet cover) for Flatstock 25, just so we had something. In the future, there will be more sizes available on those, but I figured something was better than nothing.

We'll also be promoting the blog site from Twitter & Facebook, as Beth said, so if there are Flatstock artists that you know who might not see this on GP, aren't here regularly, link 'em to this thread or the blog.

We have some big fun plans for promoting Flatstocks and Flatstock artists coming up, and the blog will be sort of the hub for that activity and fun.
