My best friend and I are trying to figure out a way to go to a music festival this summer and we are currently thinking of doing Pitchfork and selling posters. Would anyone want to split a booth with me? I don't have a lot of posters to sell so to have a booth to myself will look pretty sad. Also does anyone know how much it will cost for the booth? Thanks so much!

No idea yet how much tents will cost. Or how much space will be available to us.
All of this is in the process of being worked out, but if it's anything like last year, we won't know for sure before sometime in May.
Space will be limited and in high demand, that much is certain.
As with any Flatstock, the first step toward participating is to become a member of the API, if you haven't already. Membership is a prerequisite for participation.
API members will receive status updates and notifications before the general public.

Thank you for your help. Do you have any idea how much tables will cost? I don't need to know exact prices, but a ballpark range would be nice to know.

$400-ish for a full 10x10' space. Could be more, could be less.

I would advise not counting your chickens before they have hatched, i.e., don't book a hotel room unless/until you're 100% sure that you're in.

Thank you so much! I don't know if I am going yet. I just found out that if my best friend pays for a plane ticket and her ticket into Coachella that my dad will let me go to Coachella and help me pay for it. I can only go to one festival this summer, so if I go to Coachella then I won't go to Pitchfork.

This is a lot earlier than in previous years, yeah? I know it's waaaaay too early to tell, but is this going to affect booth pricing? I don't want to sit this one out, because it's The One That's Nearby, but there's definitely a point where we wouldn't be able to do it.

It would just suck because I already booked three hotel rooms and pre-paid for 90 lbs of Chicago Diner veggie ribs.

haw haw. i just posted the same thing in another thread. i didn't even realize there were two threads. yeah, that's CRAZY fast. i don't know if it will affect booth pricing, but it will definitely mean the fest will be rockin' busy this year for sure. awesome.

and that the fence hoppin, get offa my lawn kids will be hard core this year. MARK!
