OK: the
EL BALAZO/MISSION BADLANDS gallery space wants to host a Sat party for you fuckers. They are getting 2 bands to play it. They are picking the bands. They would like to have 1 poster from each Artist to hang up for the party. These posters will NOT be paid for and NOT returned. The 'hope' is about 500 people will attend and go to the show on Sunday. Beers are 2 bux. you can bring in a small bottle of booze if ya want. If they get a 'big name band' they will charge 2 dollar admission to pay the band, but YOU get in free. The address is 2811 Mission Street at 24th. In the Heart of the Ghetto. 8pm-2am. If you want to give them a poster to display the guy will come pick them up at Saturday's Flatstock. thats it.

(crossing fingers they pick decent bands because bad music makes me cry and it would be super hella awesome for a band i relly dig like um the lost sounds to see my work in a REAL gallery cuz maybe it will legitimise my sorry hide and they will hire us to do thier nest recd sleeve and my band can go on tour woith them and we'll have the bestest time ever. yeah!)

I kinda know the guy. I know people that know him better. I'll talk to them.
The place isn't great but it isn't bad either. It's halfway decent as a gallery. It's the place right above the McDonalds on 24th. They d a lot of "political" crap type art shows. The time we played there was for a benefit for the Exotic Dancers Union and Women Against Rape. Too Funny. When did SF get popular local talent? I bet we could get the Idiots too play.
