Yeah, I don't think it exists... it's what character styles are for in InDesign (but even then, you'd have to manually assign them to begin with)

copy and paste the entire thing. select it all, 'create outlines'..then ungroup all. delete the words, do them in the different font, create outlines, ungroup them and then move them into place, you will prolly have to re-kern the lines. I do this alll the time it works fast.

damn, just make colored rectangles in front of all of the words you want to do and then select all of them and send to back...easy as that.

No, it's not possible. Just gotta highlight and bold, rinse and repeat. I don't see how this could take that long, unless you're sifting through 1000 paragraphs.
