This is so goddamn frustrating.
I hate the way Free Transform and perspective work/do not work in both PS and AI.
The interface is awkward and clunky. It takes a million operations to do what I want. Which is put some goddamn text on a mfing building in realistic perspective, imagine that.
Why can't I just drag the corners and have it affect the image in a predictable and intuitive way, like in Corel Draw?
Since that sucks, good thing I can put a symbol on an extruded 3D object in AI, and at least get realistic perspective out of it. Oh wait... except now I have to rotate my 3D object on 3 axes and add perspective by some arbtrary measure of 'degrees'... all adjustments affecting one another in completely unpredictable ways, so it's even more fucking impossible to model an object that matches the perspective in my photo, without a million ridiculous tweaks and a good measure of luck. Basically, the interface is completely useless.
I'm not asking for advice, I am just stating that I hate this, and it sucks.
