select at least 1 object with the color you want to select, go to edit/ find & replace/ find, then click the last bubble at the bottom ( match current selected object) then hit next. Once in the new window click the "edit" button to the right, it goes to a new window with 4 tabs at top, underob. type uncheck anything that is checked, do the same for outline, and sp. effect. click next, hope thats not too confusing...

Use the Eyedropper in the toolbar. When you click on it it will bring up a menu at the top of the screen that you can choose what attributes you want to copy. Then use the paintbucket tool to apply fill to an object.
