Page? Group? what the hell is the difference. Right now I have one of each for Squad19 and am not sure what makes one better than the other or which is more useful... I just know that having both seems redundant.

2 different functions that seem pretty much the same.
a page = a person, a group = a group of person's
Not sure. Everyday I tell myself that I am going to sign out of facebook if idiots I never talked to at my highschool don't stop trying to add me.
I have a group for my art but never even look at it, so I don't know how many people are in it.
I signed up for Facebook reluctantly and I hate to admit, I'm hooked on it. Probably because of the iPhone App.
And, the thought of spying on people you know.

i was under the impression that pages were being phased out in favor of groups, yet i do not recall where i heard this, or if it's going to happen, or why you can still make pages. so maybe i made it up?
i made a standard design page, then deleted it and made a group.

Groups have more functionality (emailing members etc). Pages were intended for celebrities / bands / types of cheese etc (to be a fan of) .. but basically useless.
