    Some interesting stories from the Vancouver Sun by their local stock and financial fraud reporter. This guy is always after swindlers and stock scam artists - here he gets going on artists using giclees to defraud the art buying public.

    I couldn't see it either but heres a different painting. It totally looks like she used the magic wand tool around the hair in the lower left corner.

    When I started printing I would do these incredible screen prints basically exactly duplicating a painting. We would draw out each color and hand mix every color until it exactly mixed the artists paint. It was fun. We'd even break down the textures and differences in gloss. Sometimes we'd even be able to fool the artist at the end. We were giving the people what they wanted, an exact reproduction. The key difference was they were never sold as the original piece.
