Help me fix this thing

Check you font book, check for bad fonts. sometimes they will switch when you add new ones. Turn off all corrupted fonts.

I had this before... it is a font you have trash or something... just a sec... I will see if I can find it

Yeah, I had that same problem with Safari and iChat, but not FireFox...
I don't really have a good solution though. I reinstalled the OS for a different reason and it also went away.
